<p>This module is dedicated to the development of integrative vectors.</p>
<p>It emphasizes the design and testing of vectors for stable gene expression.</p>
<p>In the process of developing our assembly and transformation plans and protocols, the prospect of integrating our construct into the genome of V. natriegens was of particular interest.</p>
<p>Integrating the construct into the genome would eliminate the risk of the organism dropping maintenance of the plasmid, as well as remove the need of growing it in antibiotic-supplemented media.</p>
<p>While the team was unable to reach this phase of our lab work, extensive research was carried out in order to plan the ideal method, the sum of which is listed below.</p>
