<pclass="text-center home-paragraph">Engineering non-model organisms, such asM. aeruginosa, is challenging due to the targeting of foreign DNA by restriction-modification (R-M) systems. TABI has developed a pipeline that identifies underrepresented motifs in non-model species like M. aeruginosa. By removing these motifs during plasmid synthesis, we can evade the restriction modification systems, improving transformation efficiency and enabling us to target large-scale HABs.
