Juan Antonio Alfaro was the main coordinator of the Software & Modeling team, whom were responsible for the creation of a python-based pipeline for synthetic sRNA designing and an Artificial Intelligence model for predicting the behavior role (upregulation or downregulation) of the designed sRNAs.

Manuel, Hugo, Samyr and Juan Antonio performed bibliographical search in order to looking for current scoring methods and selection criteria for the designing of sRNAs and antisense RNAs in bacteria, while Juan Antonio designed the pipeline of the scoring method and Manuel, Hugo and Samyr selected and tested the required bioinformatic packages. Hugo Campos helped on the cleaning up of the code making it more understandable.

On the other hand, Manuel de Labra was the main responsible for the architecture design of the artificial intelligence in order to create a model for predicting sRNA regulation behavior. For training the artificial intelligence, Juan Antonio and Manuel Hernández looked for sRNA databases on bibliographical sources, while Juan Antonio designed the guidelines for filling-up the databases. All team members helped retrieving bibliography data for filling up the databases.
