In accordance with his background in the workplace and his interestsDr. Juan Aranda developed the following research areas: Engineering and design of biotechnology processes, modeling of microbial growth and metabolite production, and bioprocesses scale up. In these research lines, they seek to understand the biological systems, including metabolic and genetic aspects until operational aspects of the recovery of bioproducts (specifically through chromatography, membrane, and dry processes). Currently, Dr. Juan Aranda has 37 publications and patents in respect of the development of bioprocesses, which are cited in 337 articles.

She holds certifications in Quality Management Systems and represents Mexico in international forums like the IGDRP and IPRF, contributing significantly to global pharmaceutical regulatory standards. Currently, Adriana leads as Director of Operations at Udelá Global and continues to influence pharmaceutical and regulatory practices through her leadership and expertise.


Master Armida Ivette Bahena Delgado

Professional Profile:

Armida Bahena holds a Licentiate in Nutrition and a Master of Science in Toxicology from the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes (UAA). Professionally, she has worked as a private nutritionist and served as the Supervisor of the food service at Hospital Hidalgo. During her master's studies, she developed an experimental Wistar rat model of enteropathy induced by NSAIDs, assessing the therapeutic effects of a bioactive dairy peptide, both alone and combined with a probiotic. Subsequently, she worked as a Research Technician at UAA, contributing to the development of an experimental model of ocular ectasia (Keratoconus) in New Zealand rabbits to evaluate the therapeutic potential of Curcumin. This role involved utilizing molecular biology techniques such as PCR, electrophoresis, and nanodrop usage, as well as performing DNA extraction from patient samples and managing laboratory inventories and administrative tasks. Currently, she is a Ph.D. student in Medical Research at the Higher School of Medicine of the National Polytechnic Institute, based at the National Institute of Perinatology, where her research focuses on evaluating the Immune System-Gut Microbiota-Brain Axis in the pediatric population.


PhD. Diana Reyes Pavón

Diana Reyes Pavon is a tenured professor and researcher at the Autonomous University of Baja California, based in Mexicali. She holds a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences with a specialization in Clinical Immunology. As an interconsultant, her research has involved the use of an intestinal anaphylaxis model. She works in the Laboratory of Neuroinflammation and Pain, focusing on the impact of various pathologies using murine and rat models. Currently, she is in her tenth month of a postdoctoral fellowship, where she is investigating the relationship between nopal mucilage and gut microbiota in rat models of obesity.
